How it works

E-Consults are when your clinician gets advice from a specialist online to help with your care. They give quicker answers without needing an in-person visit and make getting specialist advice easier and faster. Depending on your insurance, there may be a cost for an E-Consult.
1

Your clinician sends an online request to a specialist with your permission.

2

A specialist looks at the request and gives advice within 2 days.

3

Your clinician shares the advice with you. This usually happens within a week.
